“Spider Veins” are red or blue-purple veins that are near the skin surface.
We are equipped with two different light technologies for these vascular lesions. We may use either one or both, to help treat your skin. A small spot of laser light travels through the skin and is absorbed by the blood within the vein, on the basis of its color. The resulting head coagulates or clots the blood and destroys the function of the vein.
This process does not affect any of the surrounding tissue. Over time, the vein will be absorbed by the body and will disappear from sight. Nd: YAG laser is used for leg vein therapy, facial veins, large telangiectasias, venous lakes and hemangioma
As the population ages, ever-increasing numbers of people are interested in improving their appearance. IPL technology can be used to help restore the skin’s youthful appearance. IPL technology improves the appearance of sun damaged skin, removes age spots (sun-induced freckles), most benign brown pigments, and redness caused by broken capillaries through a process called photorejuvenation for face and body. The process is ideal for patients with active lifestyles because the procedure requires no downtime and has a low risk of side effects.
The gentle, non-ablative treatments use broad spectrum light to treat the face, chest, neck and hands- to leave the complexion more even and clear. A series of three to six treatments is recommended.
Laser Hair Reduction w/LightSheer® Duet™ Laser
Laser Hair Reduction is a permanent solution to unwanted dark hair. The laser light that is emitted is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicles, creating heat. The heat causes damage to the hair follicle which significantly alters the ability to re-grow hair. After five to six treatments with the laser you should expect to see a 80-90% reduction in hair.
We are proud to offer the latest technology in hair reduction: LightSheer® Duet™!! This revolutionary new technology utilizes a vacuum assist and a larger spot size and reduces hair removal treatment times up to 75% and vastly improves patient comfort, eliminating the need for topical anesthetics.
Consultation is required to determine if you are a candidate. Treatment does not work on all hair colors or skin types.
